Irish Wake

The end result of the four song performance designed and executed by Northern lights was a spectacular display of creativity and technical wizardry.

While I admit to some frustration about the competing July 4 projects, the technical team lead by a lady by the name of Mags, really pulled the rabbit out of the hat.

Ostensibly, the tribute was to my late husband. In reality, I just wanted to make the neighbors envious. Mission accomplished.

The first song was a wonderful tune from Oklahoma called “oh what a beautiful morning” in keeping with Jim’s delight in musicals.

The second one was basically a love letter.

I allowed the creative team to do whatever they thought was appropriate for song number three. It turned out to be a marvelous display of drone agility and sparkle.

The fourth song created a timeline of my late husband‘s life, from where he was born to his last days here on the ranch.

The creative process was enhanced by frequent video reviews from the technical team. They accepted my input and revised images to match my visions.

The actual performance was carried out by a pilot by the name of Mikey and his assistant. They did an excellent job of setting up the drones and initiating the performance at my signal.

The audience assembled is still talking about the performance. None of the guests had ever seen a live drone performance.

I highly recommend Northern lights for your next drone project.
